Newspapers: Extensive experience in a
range of papers. Editorial Associate, podcaster and columnist for the
Guardian's regular Business Sense section (formerly
Business Solutions, launched in 1999) for every issue
during its eight-year run; contributor to the Financial
Times' Business Life pages;the Sunday Times; the Mail on
Sunday; regular correspondent for the Observer's Cash
section; in the past I have also been an occasional
contributor to the Independent, Daily Mirror,
thelondonpaper, the Evening Standard and until the
section for which I wrote folded, the Daily Express.
• Online:
Contributor to Reuters.com
(uncredited
writing advertorial but the link is to my work), and
have recently become a blogger for Smallbizpod. In 2005 I was the
Guardian's blogger for its Business Solutions blog
throughout its entire run.
•
Magazines: Contributor to
ComputerActive (cover feature twice in 2007), Radio Times,
Director, the Press Gazette, numerous other occasional
appearances in the magazine world.
•
Radio/voice work: Regular appearances on the
Jo Good breakfast show on BBC London Radio
and
occasional appearances on the BBC World Service's
Digital Planet
(note the
link is to the current episode and not necessarily one
of mine); Podcasts for the Guardian in
2006, contributor to BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour. Expert
contributor to the Open University on Bluetooth
technology; former comedy sketch writer during the
mid/late 1990s!

Television: Regular panellist on
DotTV's "Chips With Everything" programme; one of an expert
panel on a couple of the BBC's "Webwise for Business"
programmes in 2004. Also wrote for the late lamented
"Spitting Image".
