If
you're a PR wanting to pitch stories to me it's worth
knowing what I'm working on at the moment. Here's an idea
of what's on the stocks:
* Gadget stories - after years of doing primarily business
rather than consumer-oriented gadget stories I find I'm
being asked to write a load of consumery stuff. So,
anything on gaming, household appliances, any tech stuff,
more than welcome.
* Tech stories with a London bias - please, please listen
to the BBC London Breakfast Show before pitching these, I
get so many pitches for formal reviews, product round-ups
and stuff we simply don't do. Recently I have also started
contributing to the Drivetime show - again, please listen
to the show before approaching me.
* Stories on organisations sharing premises
* Accounting systems - who's selling the most, who's on the
way up
* Working from home stories
* Mobile phones and disability
* MobileInternet - the reseller's perspective
* Small business - interesting stuff always wanted
